• Kyogle Council – D&C Landslip Remediation Works.

We’re thrilled to announce the ongoing Design & Construct project of the Bentley Rd Landslip Remediation, Bentley. The project involves clearing and rockface scaling, drilling, grouting, and testing rock bolts, as well as removing 2,600 m³ of slip material offsite. Additionally, a new pavement will be constructed to restore the road to its original alignment.

Progress Update:

• Clearing and rockface scaling are complete
• 36 rock bolts have been drilled, grouted, and tested
• 2,600 m³ of slip material has been removed and sent offsite
• Preparation for roadworks is now in motion

We’re thrilled to announce the ongoing Design & Construct project of the Kyogle Rd Landslip Remediation, Lillian Rock. This includes the construction of an access track, preparing the slope by removing eroded material, and installing a gravity retaining structure. The project also included subsoil drainage, scour protection, pavement removal, and reinstating the road verge and flexible pavement.

Project Progress:

• All Baskets have been delivered
• 60% of the basket rock filling and installation is complete
• All of the embankment and footing area open and Geotech passed
• Road traffic still under oneway traffic light control

We’re Excited to announce that the Powells Creek Pedestrian Bridge, Strathfield project is officially complete! Project involved working Closesly with our Design Partner Teleo Design.

This project involved the construction of a 15m steel footbridge with steel transition off-ramps, strategically located in a busy shopping car park near the M4 flyover at West Homebush. The bridge spans over a large brick canal easement, requiring footings to be positioned on either side of the canal. Each footing consisted of 2 x 6m screw piles connected to a large concrete headstock, poured in situ. Additionally, the car park was reconfigured with new pram ramps, signage, and line marking to enhance accessibility and safety.

• Design is nearly complete, with Walkways 8 and 6 in production.
• Steel installation for Walkways 3 and 4 stairs is underway, and concrete steps for Walkways 1 and 2 are ready for landscaping.
• Clearing for Walkways 6 and 7 is done, and Lidar surveying completed.
• Footing realignment for Walkway 5 is approved, with footing piers in progress.
• Walkway 8 footing is complete, with steel arriving in the next two weeks.

We’re excited to share that the Kangaroo Point project is now 80% complete! Here’s what’s been happening:

✅ The bridge has been successfully lifted and installed from Brooklyn Rd!

✅ Bridge connections and the boardwalk to the marina are almost finished!

✅ The 3m coloured concrete shared path is 85% complete!

✅ Shared path fencing is in production, almost ready to go up!

✅ The design for connecting to existing pavements is complete and at CC3 stage!
