With growing requirements for very experienced contractors in the local government market, Shane left the Tier 1 space and formed Green Civil Services (GCS) in August 2019. Very quickly, GCS recognised a real need to work with local governments and private clients to ensure that value for money during construction was reintroduced. That’s where Green Civil Services comes in, we provide the complete Management Service driven by a Business manager who has 37 years of versatile, hands-on civil engineering experience.
Green Civil Services works with clients through concepts, authority approvals, ECI and design processes, construction management, handovers, and ongoing maintenance. We also work in the Local Government and State Authority market, undertaking both Design & Construct, and Construct Only Projects. We are selective in our markets whilst believing in the importance of adding value in every project we become involved in. Our innovative solutions enable cost and time savings to stretch our clients' budgets further.
GCS will always look for the best optioneering alternative to Design and Construct or add in as an alternative. In an extremely buoyant labour driven industry, we can always find a way to save on construction costs, allowing our clients to utilise the savings for use on new projects. We achieve this success through our many years of experience, our innovative visions and driving lower whole of life and sustainable costs into our designs to construct.
